Terms and Conditions
RESERVATION AND BOOKINGS
Once a provisional booking has been agreed, a booking form should
be completed by a member of the group, who must be at least 18 years
of age.
When you make a booking you guarantee that you have the authority
to accept and do accept the terms of these booking conditions on behalf
of your party
. The signing of the booking form confirms acceptance of the terms
and conditions of all persons intending to occupy the villa.
PAYMENTS
The price quoted is in Euros for the villa per week.
A deposit of 30% of the total price is required at the time of booking
and the balance is due eight weeks before departure. The booking will be
confirmed on receipt of the deposit. In the event of the full payment not
being made in time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking. If the
booking is made within eight weeks of departure, full payment is required
with the completed booking form.
In addition, a security deposit of 250 euros is also payable.
Any defects found on arrival
must be reported to the management within 24 hours or you may be
held liable. The security deposit will be refunded on your return
home subject to an inspection of the property for any
loss, damage or if any excessive cleaning is required.
Although the price quoted is subject to change, once the deposit has been
paid and the confirmation issued, the price will the guaranteed.
ACCOMMODATION
The villa and pool is reserved exclusively for the people named
on the booking form. Your booking covers the hire of the villa
furnished
and equipped for your holiday.
You have been allocated
electricity, this is normally ample per 8 people per week, the
meter reading will be checked on your arrival and will be
checked on the departure day, should the usage exceed the allocated
units then each unit will be charged and deducted from the security
deposit.
Bed linen and bathroom towels
are also covered by the rental. Bed linen and bath towels will
be changed on a
weekly basis. Please note that you are required to bring and
use your own beach towels.
Access to the villa is available from 4.00pm on the day of arrival.
The premises should be vacated by 10.00am on the agreed departure
date. We
will try and facilitate your requests whenever we can.
It is your responsibility to ensure that all windows and doors are
locked when you go out.
Most guests enjoy their holidays and behave in a proper manner. Should
we become aware of any unreasonable behaviour, we will ask you to leave
the premises at your own cost. Please note that you will not be entitled
to any refund.
You undertake to take responsibility and exercise reasonable care in respect
of the accommodation, its equipment and facilities. It is our aim that
your holiday is safe and trouble free. We ask you to be mindful of your
own duty of care and give thought to your own safety and the safety of
other members of your group.
Departing guests are responsible for leaving the villa and kitchen in
a clean and reasonable state.
CHANGES OR CANCELLATION OF THE BOOKING
We will endeavour to facilitate changes to your booking, as long
as the confirmation is received in writing and signed by the same person
who confirmed the booking. The written changes must be received at least
8 weeks before departure.
If you wish to cancel your booking, we must receive the instructions
in writing by the same person who signed the form. If your written
instructions are received less than 6 months before
departure, we will charge you 50% of the deposit. If your written
instructions are received less than eight weeks
before departure, we will charge you 50% of the total costs. If
the written notice is received less than two weeks before departure,
you will
forfeit the
full amount.
Please note that if we do not receive your full payment eight weeks before
departure, we may cancel your booking.
In the unlikely event, of us changing your booking, we will notify you
as soon as possible and we may offer you alternative arrangements. If you
are not satisfied with this, we will refund your money as soon as we receive
your written reply.
FORCE MAJEURE
No liability can be accepted for any loss, damage or injury arising
in relation to your stay in the rental property. In the context
of these terms and conditions, “force majeure” is any event
that we could not, even with due care, foresee or avoid. These events include,
but are not limited to, war, threat of war, riot, civil commotion
or
strife, hostilities, industrial dispute, natural disaster, fire,
acts of God, terrorist activity, nuclear disaster, adverse weather, government
action, technical problems with transportation or other events
outside
our control.
TRAVEL INSURANCE & LIABILITIES
It is essential that you take out adequate personal and medical insurance
cover.
We do not accept any responsibility or liability for personal
injury, death, loss or damage to any member of the group or any
visitor to the
property arising out of, or in connection with, the use of the rental
villa or the pool. The use of the swimming pool is at your own
risk and we cannot
accept liability for injuries howsoever caused as a result of its
use. You must ensure that all children are supervised at all times
whilst in
or around the balconies, garden and swimming pool.
NOT ALLOWED
Sorry, we do not allow animals or pets on the premises.
Smoking is not permitted in the villa.
